Aditya Singh 3
I have Spotfire 12.0 version where I am trying to open one dxp file but can't see the background processes(task) while it is opening like data functions, on demand etc. Is there any way I can see all the background processes(tasks) or is there any option to enable/disable it? Fredrik Rosell
Hello Aditya,What exactly are you trying to do/achieve? Some operations are run in separate (Windows) processes, e.g. you'll see multiple Cef-processes outside of the main Spotfire.Dxp.exe, and some data access (like Excel import) runs out of process but most doesn't. Aditya Singh 3
Hi FredrikI have a dxp file with lot scripts and on demand IL's. Now when it is opened there are few navigations buttons which pass the parameters to IL's and start loading data. Now what happens is at this time background tasks are running(icon can be seen at bottom right corner). In older versions I could see what background tasks are running like scripts, data functions, On demand etc. but in version 12 this option is not available. Wanted to know which processes are taking more time due to which there is delay in navigating to required tab after clicking.
