Gaia Paolini
I don't understand what you mean. Can you elaborate?
Morio Saeki 3
Sorry for the late reply.Spotfire allows to select and mark multiple items as shown below. shift+click, ctrl+click, right click->[Marked Row]->select invert etcHowever, I would like to prevent multiple Marks In a particular table view.(I want to keep only one line marked at all times.)For example, disable "ctrl+select item, shift+select item". Disable Marked Rows in the right-click menu, etc.I looked for settings but couldn't find it.Do you have any idea?(Currently I would like to determine if there is a way.) Gaia Paolini
I am not aware of a way to select only one mark. You can disable marking on a table altogether. With a data function you could process only the first marked item out of many, but the first is not necessarily in the order you want.Maybe there is a workaround that does not involve restricting marking, if you can share the use case? Morio Saeki 3
Thank you for your answer.I understood that it is difficult. I will consider another way.
Anas Ghannam
I would like to know the way you have in mind. We have an external API that accepts one set of values coming from marking only one row in the table plot. So we need to force marking one row in the table plot. Please let me know the alternatives. Gaia Paolini
Anas Ghannam: are you calling this API from a data function? In that case the only solution I can think of is to send all the marked rows as input to the data function, then select only the first row, and output a message that says which row you selected.
